He's been jailed for over two years
A man from Northwich has been jailed for 27 months after harassing a woman and threatening to kill her and her family.
The court heard how 22-year-old William Gurney had been in a relationship with the victim.
During a disagreement, he threatened to slit her throat, set her home on fire and kill her and others.
Gurney called the victim over a hundred times and sent her hundreds of messages in just two days.
He also tried to enter her home before going into her garden, this is when the police were called.
Gurney was arrested following a police chase.
He pleaded guilty to harassment with fear of violence and possession of cannabis.
