Tributes paid to man who died after M6 collision

Tributes have been paid by the family of a man who died after a collision on the M6.

64-year-old Donald Sheppard, from the Birmingham area was involved in a collision with three lorries at 4.10am on Monday. It happened on the northbound carriageway between junctions 15 and 16, close to Seabridge in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

In a tribute to him, Donald’s family said: “Don was a devoted and loving husband, a cherished brother, a much-loved uncle, and a loyal friend to many.

“He touched the lives of countless people through his kindness, warmth, and willingness to help others.

“Don leaves behind a family and circle of friends who loved him dearly. While words cannot lessen the pain of his loss, the memories shared with him will remain a lasting source of comfort and pride.

“He will be remembered with love, missed every day, and held forever in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.”
