Man charged in Trent Vale murder case appears at Justice Centre
Court date set for murder charge stemming from March 2025 incident
A suspect in the Trent Vale murder case has appeared via videolink at North Staffordshire Justice Centre after being charged with the crime.
The incident dates back to 10th March 2025, when police were called at 4.05pm to reports of a disturbance at a house on Lymebrook Place.
Sadly, Ivan Takev, 38, was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Charles Lewis, 47, from Liverpool, faces charges in connection with Takev's death.
Specialist officers are continuing to offer support to Ivan Takev's family during this time.
Lewis remains remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 24th August.
