Tree lands on three cars after falling onto road in Macclesfield

A tree has fallen into a road in Macclesfield, landing on and damaging three cars in the process
The incident occurred on Manchester Road in Macclesfield just before midday today. Friday 14th
Emergency services crews are currently in attendance at the scene.
All the people are safely out of their vehicles and are currently being assessed by paramedics.
Police are also in attendance and have set up a cordon surrounding the scene and have closed the road.
The force are advising motorists to avoid the area.
