Three teenagers have been charged following a targeted operation addressing off-road bike offences in the Lichfield area.

Anthony Stokes, 19, from Lichfield, faces charges including driving without due care, driving while disqualified, and failing to provide a specimen.

Jake Duce, 19, from Birstall in Leicester, has been charged with dangerous driving, not having proper insurance, and failing to stop when required.

A 16-year-old boy from Burntwood, whose name cannot be legally disclosed, has been charged with several offences including driving without third party insurance and failing to stop.

The charges are the result of joint efforts by local officers, the National Police Air Service, and the road harm team in an operation around Chasewater and Lichfield on 23rd May.

Stokes and Duce are scheduled to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on 12th June.

The 16-year-old boy will attend North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 2nd July.
