Teenager arrested after man found with serious head injury in Stoke-on-Trent home

He's been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – wounding with intent

A teenager has been arrested after a man was found with serious injuries inside a home in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to an address on Nelson Street, Fenton just before 2.50pm on 23 April.

A man in his 40s was found with a head injury and is currently in hospital in a serious condition.

An 18-year-old boy, from Stoke-on-Trent, who is known to the victim, has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 – wounding with intent.

An increased police presence in the area is to be expected as a cordon is in place.

Investigations are ongoing and the suspect remains in custody.
