Teen bitten by dog in Blythe Bridge
Officers are searching after a dog attack near Mount Road
Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old girl was bitten on the face by a dog in Blythe Bridge.
The attack happened at around 1.45pm yesterday, 24th November 2025, in an alleyway near the recreation ground on Mount Road. Officers were called to the area shortly before 2pm following reports of a large black dog loose in the neighbourhood.
The dog is said to have bitten the girl before running off in an unknown direction. The victim managed to make her own way to hospital for treatment.
Police are conducting searches and investigations to locate the animal and are now appealing for anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
