Family pays tribute to 'loved and adored' teenager Oakley Shim following fatal Stoke collision
Collision involving motorbike and car claims Bucknall teenager's life
The family of Oakley Shim, the 18-year-old who tragically died in a collision in Stoke-on-Trent, have paid heartfelt tribute to him.
The accident occurred at 10.10am on Wednesday, 5th August, on Anchor Road in Adderley Green, involving a car and a motorbike.
Oakley Shim, from Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
In a poignant statement, Oakley's family expressed their deep love: “Our beautiful ‘sonshine’, you were loved and adored by every person you ever met, and your smile was the biggest in every room. There will only ever be one of you Oak, forever young and forever in our hearts. Catch you later Oakie Bear.”
Specialist officers are continuing to support Oakley's next of kin during this difficult time.
The police are appealing for anyone with information, CCTV, or doorbell footage of the area at the time to come forward.
