Two men jailed for cocaine supply in Stoke-on-Trent investigation
Midlands court sentenced pair for drugs line offences
Two men from Chell Heath, Stoke-on-Trent have been sentenced following their involvement in a cocaine supply operation.
Byron Baines, 21, and Lennon Mutch, 20, were sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 14th July for their roles in distributing cocaine.
Baines received a sentence of two years and four months, while Mutch was sentenced to two years and six months behind bars.
Investigation details and findings
The investigation into the drugs line began on 21st August last year, when officers executed warrants at the homes of both men, uncovering a network of drug supply through text messages sent to numerous recipients.
Officers recovered a drugs line phone and £310 in cash from Mutch's home.
Baines’ residence revealed another phone associated with the operation and £115 in cash.

Operation Target, launched in May 2023, has been pivotal in identifying and disrupting criminal activities such as drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation.
