A 24-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent has been sentenced to over four years in prison after being caught with drugs worth an estimated £89,000.

Nafiz Aygun, from Fegg Hayes, received his sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday, 10th April, following his guilty plea to charges including possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis, and possessing criminal property.

The arrest occurred on Tunstall High Street last September after officers stopped Aygun, suspecting his vehicle was linked to drug activities. During the search, Aygun admitted to having class A drugs in his possession.

Officers discovered a significant quantity of drugs and cash in both the vehicle and his residence, with more than £2,000 in cash recovered during the searches.

Aygun was charged with these offences, which he had admitted to in an earlier hearing.
