Man arrested after gun threat reported in Stoke-on-Trent
Police seize air rifle and appeal for information
Police have arrested a 48-year-old man in Stoke-on-Trent following an incident where a woman was allegedly threatened with a gun.
The event was reported at 9:15 am on Wednesday, 25th March, at a house in Blurton.
It is claimed the man pointed a gun at a woman known to him before leaving the scene in a grey Vauxhall van.
Officers intercepted the van on Lightwood Road and seized an air rifle in connection with the incident.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and has been released on conditional bail while investigations continue.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for anyone with information related to the investigation to come forward.
