Two men have been charged in connection with a significant drug seizure in Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, involving serious drug offences including conspiracy to supply class A and B controlled substances.

Tom Chell, 32, of no fixed address, and Anthony Cornwell, 42, from Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, have both been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and heroin, which are class A controlled drugs. They also face charges related to the supply of monkey dust (MDPHP), a class B controlled drug.

The charges stem from a substantial crackdown in the area, where a large quantity of drugs was seized by authorities on Saturday, 26th September.

Both Chell and Cornwell are scheduled to appear today, Wednesday 30th September, at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.

The incident underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and supply within Staffordshire, with authorities urging the community to report any suspicious activity that might be related to drug crimes.

This case highlights the collaborative efforts between local law enforcement and community vigilance in tackling drug-related issues and ensuring public safety.
