Witnesses urged to come forward following a driver's death in Stafford

Officers are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a collision in the Stafford area yesterday.
Staffordshire Police were called at 8am on Thursday (16 October) to Teddesley Road in Newtown, towards Penkridge, following reports of a collision.
Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A vehicle was involved in a collision with a tree.
A woman was pronounced dead by medics a short time later.
Her next of kin has been informed.
Anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage should contact 101 quoting incident number 110 of 16 October.
