A cocaine dealer who stashed wads of cash inside safes in a shed in Rugeley has been jailed for two and a half years.

44-year-old Robert Studzinski admitted possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, and possession of criminal property.

Last September, officers spotted a drug deal taking place in the town.

They followed the driver of the car involved in the deal back to a house.

The driver, Studzinski, was arrested and searched.

He had 12 snap bags of cocaine on him and two phones.

Officers then went on to search his address and found £5,545 in cash, and cocaine worth an estimated £4,500.
