Three men who attempted to rob a house in Stoke-on-Trent by claiming they had a shotgun have been jailed.

Korben Aubrey, 24, Caoimhin Martin, 23 and Ethan Sullivan, 22, all from Stoke-on-Trent, admitted attempted robbery.

The three have been sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court today (12 June).

The court heard the group went to a house in Fenton just before midnight on 9 February 2026.

They covered their faces and shouted threats through the letterbox, claiming they had a shotgun.

Officers arrested them shortly after.

Aubrey, Martin and Sullivan all answered 'no comment' in police interviews, but later pleaded guilty in court due to the evidence gathered.

The sentences

Aubrey has been jailed for three-years-and-seven-months.

Martin has been jailed for three-years-and-four-months.

Sullivan has been jailed for two-years-and-ten-months.

PC Brittany Astley, who led the investigation said “I'm glad that the court recognises the severity of the offending and has reflected this in the custodial sentences for all three men.”
