Spaniel Peppa set to become newest member of Cheshire constabulary
Sprocker Spaniel Peppa has been welcomed by the force
A 12-week-old cocker spaniel is set to become the newest member of Cheshire Constabulary.
Peppa is set to start her Police Dog training in the next few weeks.
She has been welcomed by the force after being donated by Lisa Haughton from the Protecting Vulnerable People Unit.
Both Peppa's parents are also working spaniels.
Lisa said, “Peppa is a Sprocker spaniel bred from my own home-bred working Sprocker spaniel, Ruby.
“Her father is Merlin, a working cocker spaniel from the renowned ‘Spanbella Gundogs’ based in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
“She is very special to us."
Her job is still yet to be decided, but she's currently living with her new handler.
