Motorcyclist dies after collision in Crewe

The incident happened at the end of May.

An investigation is continuing after a motorcyclist died in a collision in Crewe.

At around 8.50pm last Wednesday the incident involved, a BMW motorcycle and Nissan Juke on Dunwoody Way.

The 30 year-old rider of the motorcycle, died at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan, a 42-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

Inspector Andy Dennison said:

“At the time of the collision there were several cars and pedestrians using Dunwoody way.

“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to contact us. The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage that may help with the investigation.”
