Two charged after monkey dust and crack discovery in Stoke-on-Trent

Two men have been charged after police seized a large quantity of suspected drugs, including monkey dust and crack cocaine, in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers raided properties on Uttoxeter Road in Longton and Harrowby Road in Meir, recovering drugs, cash and mobile phones on Monday (2nd February).

28-year-old Ryan Lowndes, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with:

  • possession with intent to supply class A drugs, cocaine
  • being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, crack cocaine
  • being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, heroin
  • being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, monkey dust
  • assault of an emergency worker

27-year-old Lewis Knight, of no fixed address, has been charged with:

  • possession with intent to supply class A drugs, cocaine
  • being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, crack cocaine
  • being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, heroin
  • being concerned in the supply of class B drugs, monkey dust
  • acquiring or possessing criminal property

They're both due at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (4th February).
