Tributes paid to motorcyclist who died in Dresden crash

Tributes have been paid to a man who died in a collision in Dresden.

Emergency services were called to Belgrave Road on 29th December to reports that a motorbike and a car were involved in a crash.

The motorcyclist, 41-year-old Michael Bibby, died shortly after.

"... a very much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend"

Michael's family said, "It is with great sadness and extremely heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Michael Bibby, aged 41, of Finstock Avenue in Blurton, following a road traffic collision in Dresden on 29 December 2025.

“He was a very much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend and is going to be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

“Ride high Mikey B – ‘Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever’.”

Michael's family have asked for privacy at this time and are being supported by officers.

Anyone with information on the collision is being urged to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting incident 265 of 29 December.
