Man in hospital with life-changing injuries after reports of violence in Stoke-on-Trent
It happened on Barber Road in the Chell area.
A man is in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after police were called to reports of violence in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (Saturday 28th June)
Officers were called to Barber Road in the Chell area at 9.20am.
One man had sustained a laceration to his leg and presented to hospital for treatment. He remains in a stable condition.
Another man was taken to hospital by ambulance with potentially life-changing injuries.
A cordon is currently in place and officers remain at the scene while investigations continue.
Police think it was a targeted incident and there is no wider threat to the public at this time.
