Man dies following collision on M6
Police seek more information for investigation
A car driver has died following a crash involving multiple vehicles on the M6 motorway.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, 17th August, on the northbound side between junctions 15 (Stoke-on-Trent) and 16 (Crewe).
Police were called to the scene at 4.10am after reports of a collision involving three lorries and a car.
The driver of the car died at the scene.
Specialist officers are currently supporting his family.
In addition, one of the lorry drivers has been admitted to hospital with injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for any dashcam footage from the area at the time of the accident.
