Man charged with offences after incidents in Tamworth

A man's been charged with burglary and other offenses after a number of incidents in Tamworth.

Bradley Smith, 36, of no fixed abode, has been charged with intentional strangulation, harassment without violence, burglary dwelling – attempt grievous bodily harm, burglary dwelling – no violence, criminal damage valued to a property under £5,000 and intimidating a witness.

Police say that the charges follow incidents in the area between 26 December and 4 January 2025.

Smith appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday and has been remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on 24 February.
