Man arrested after £1,000 worth of cocaine seized in Stoke-on-Trent

Cash and a suspected drugs line phone was also seized

A 25-year-old man, from Telford, has been arrested after police seized an estimate of £1,000 worth of cocaine and a suspected drugs line phone in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police stopped a car in Penkhull yesterday (Wednesday 22 October), as it was linked to potential drug supply.

Following this, Cocaine, cash and a suspected drugs line phone was seized.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, obstructing / resisting a constable in execution of duty and assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty.

He now remains in custody.

As part of Operation Target, Staffordshire Police have arrested more than 350 people on suspicion of high harm offences, including drug dealing, within the last 12 months.
