Man killed in a hit and run in Stoke-on-Trent
It happened on Newcastle Lane in Penkhull
Police are appealing for information after a man tragically died following a non-stop collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
It happened on Newcastle Lane in Penkhull at 9pm Friday 11 April following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
Officers went to the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The pedestrian, a man, was found with serious injuries at the scene. Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Officers have put a cordon in place at the scene and are carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened and where the car went after the collision.
Police say they think the car involved was black but we’ve not been able to confirm the make or model or description of the driver at this stage.
