"A well-loved member of the Northwich community"

George’s family said: “It is with great difficulty and sadness that we say goodbye to our fantastic son George.

“George was a well-loved member of the Northwich community; he had recently completed his A levels at Sir John Deanes college and was excited to embark on a new career in business finance.

“During his short life he touched so many lives with his personality and charm, and he will be greatly remembered by all those who knew him.”

Two others were also injured in the crash.

The driver of the car, an 18-year-old boy from Davenham, is currently in hospital in a critical condition.
