Fresh calls for urgent support to help save Stoke-on-Trent's struggling ceramics industry
It follows the closure of the famous Moorcroft pottery factory in Burslem

There are fresh calls for support for the pottery industry following the closure of another firm.
Dudson in 2019, Wade in 2023, Royal Stafford this year and now Moorcroft have collapsed.
Almost all have blamed high energy costs, international trading and little support.
Moorcroft had been going for 100 years and appointed as potter to the Queen in the 20's.
Yesterday the Pottery giant announced it had closed after more than 100 years trading, at the cost of 57 jobs.
Chris Hoofe is from the GMB Union - he tells us about the effect this will have on those who worked there:
"Some of them have dedicated decades of their lives to Moorcroft and it's the same with other pottery firms that have gone into liquidation over recent year
"It's a massive hammer blow to the city but even more so to the people and the families directly affected".
