A former officer would have been dismissed had they not resigned.

An investigation by Staffordshire Police's Anti-Corruption Unit found that the former officer used Only Fans to offer sexual content and services in return for a subscription fee and/or payment.

The officer was suspended from duty and later resigned.

A one-day accelerated misconduct hearing, chaired by Assistant Chief Constable Paul Talbot, was held on Wednesday 17 September 2025 and concluded that the former officer had breached the standards of discreditable conduct.

The former officer has been placed on the national College of Policing’s Barred List, preventing them from working within policing and other law enforcement bodies.

Acting Deputy Chief Constable Caroline Marsh said: “The officer’s standards have fallen short of what is rightly expected of police officers, and I am satisfied with the result of this hearing.

“All officers and staff must act with the highest standards of integrity, both in and outside of the workplace.

“Given the officer’s discreditable conduct, it is right he has received the outcome of gross misconduct.

"We will continue to take robust action against any officer or member of staff who is found to not uphold the required standards of professional behaviour.”
