Man dies after being hit by tractor in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has died after being hit by a tractor in Stoke-on-Trent.
Emergency services were called to Shelton New Road in Cliffe Vale just after 8.20am today (5 August).
Officers say a tractor and a pedestrian were involved in a collision.
The pedestrian, a man, was taken to hospital by ambulance but died shortly after.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the tractor stayed at the scene to help officers with enquiries.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone with footage of the collision to email [email protected] or call 101, quoting incident number 186 of 5 August.
