The family of a man who tragically died in a collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme have paid tribute to him.
27-year-old Ben Waplington, from Stoke-on-Trent, was riding a silver Triumph motorbike when he came into collision with a dark grey Mercedes estate and a red BMW motorbike at 7pm on last Friday (9th May), at the junction of Coombsdale and Kennel Lane in Hill Chorlton.
Ben suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Sadly, he died on Tuesday morning (13th May).
Specialist officers are continuing to offer support to his family at this difficult time.
In a tribute to him, Ben’s family said: “He was a dearly loved fiancé, son, brother, grandson, and the list goes on.
“He lived life to the fullest and enriched the lives of everyone he touched.
“He will be forever in our hearts and has left a hole that will be impossible to fill.”
