Police seek witnesses following fatal collision in Essington

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 20s tragically died in a collision in Essington, south Staffordshire.

Officers were called just before 1am on Sunday, 26th October, to reports of a crash involving a white Seat Ibiza and a grey Seat Ibiza on Blackhalve Lane.

Sadly, the driver of the white Seat Ibiza was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family are being supported by specialist officers.

Several other occupants from the vehicles were taken to hospital following the incident.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage, to come forward to assist collision investigators.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 39 of 26th October, or message police using Live Chat on the Staffordshire Police website.
