A man has been jailed for seven months after he was caught doing wheelies and donuts on a stolen quad bike in Stoke-on-Trent.

22-year-old Devon Bentley pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle which had been taken without the owner’s consent and driving a motor vehicle dangerously.

The North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard how Bentley was caught dangerously riding the bike in Hanley without a helmet on and with someone on the back.

He almost hit multiple people whilst doing wheelies and donuts.

The quad, a red Suzuki King, had been reported stolen the day before.

Officers are working to find it, as it's still missing.

As well as his prison sentence, he's been disqualified from driving for one year and has to take an extended re-test.
