Crewe man charged with multiple drug offences

A 39-year-old man from Crewe has been charged following a police operation in Shavington.

Lee James was arrested on Thursday 6 November in the Woodnoth Drive area and has since been charged with possession of criminal property, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs, and possession of a controlled Class A drug (cocaine).

James appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 7 November and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 5 December.

Police continue to urge anyone with information regarding drug activity in the area to come forward.
