Coach fire closes A54 near Ashton

Crews are dealing with a coach fire, on a road in Tarvin.

Firefighters say all passengers are out of the vehicle and police have closed the A54, while the incident is being dealt with.

Two fire engines are at the scene, one from Chester, the other from Tarporley.

Traffic service, Inrix, has posted a notification: "A54 both ways - Cheshire, Ashton A54 both ways closed, slow traffic due to vehicle fire between the B5393 and Kelsall Road."
