Children injured after car hits them in Stoke-on-Trent
Police seek witnesses following accident involving two school pupils
Two children were hospitalised after being struck by a car in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place on Chell Heath Road at 8.30am, involving a white Toyota and two pedestrians.
The children, who were outside Burnwood Primary Academy, received medical attention at the scene from West Midlands Ambulance Service before being transported to the hospital.
Their injuries are currently not considered life-threatening.
The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police enquiries.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
