Cheadle woman jailed after doing 80mph on wrong side of road and crashing
Four passengers in her car were injured
A woman who crashed after doing 80mph on the wrong side of the road in Cheadle, Staffordshire has been jailed for over a year.
50-year-old Faye Dawson, from Cheadle, hit 80mph on Delphouse Road, which has a 60mph speed limit in place, on 7th March 2025.
Four passengers inside her car were injured after she lost control of the vehicle.
She pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and has now been jailed for one-year-and-two-months.
She's also been disqualified from driving for four years-and-seven months.
PC Luke Randall, who led the investigation, said: “Dawson’s actions were reckless and selfish, and this custodial sentence reflects that.”
