Car stolen at knifepoint and abandoned in Newcastle-under-Lyme

A man was threatened with a knife and assaulted before his BMW was stolen from his driveway in Newcastle-under-Lyme, police say.
The reported aggravated burglary happened at around 4.40am on Friday 12 June on Seabridge Lane in the Westlands area.
The victim suffered minor facial injuries after being assaulted, officers say.
The suspects drove off in his BMW X6M towards Stoke-on-Trent.
It was foundabandoned less than 30 minutes later on Cliffe Street in Smallthorne.
Officers are now appealing for the public's help in finding the suspects.
They are described as being under 25 years old and wearing all black clothing. One of the men was around 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall.
Anyone with information is being urged to call 101 quoting incident 79 of 12 June.
