Boy (15) in hospital after being stabbed in Longton
Staffordshire Police are appealing for information
A 15-year-old boy is in hospital after being stabbed in Longton.
The teenager was walking with friends along Goms Hill Road at around 6:15pm on Saturday 21 December, when he was approached by a group of youngsters wearing balaclavas.
He was found by officers and paramedics on Edensor Road with a wound to his back.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Staffordshire Police are reviewing CCTV of the area at the time of the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone in the area with dashcam or doorbell footage.
