Body found in searches for missing Stoke-on-Trent woman

A body has been found in the search for a missing woman from Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers made the discovery in Central Forest Park in Hanley on Saturday (17th January).

Formal identification is yet to take place, but officers believe it to be the body of missing 46-year-old Lisa.

Lisa was reported missing on 3rd January, and was last seen on Christmas Day.

Her death is being treated as unexplained and investigations are ongoing.

A file will be prepared for HM Coroner.

Her family have been informed and are being supported.

Anyone with information on Lisa is being urged to contact the police by calling 101 quoting incident number 280 of 17 January.
