Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted by a group of men riding off-road bikes in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to Dividy Road in Bentilee at around 3.15pm on Tuesday (April 15) following reports of a violent disorder in the street.

It’s believed a group of men on off-road bikes attacked the victim with weapons, including an axe and a knife, following an altercation.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A search of the area was carried out, but no suspects or weapons were located.

The suspects are described as white men wearing balaclavas.

Staffordshire Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information, dashcam, or CCTV footage to come forward.
