Appeal for witnesses after dangerous driving in Stone

A car was being driven the wrong way down the High Street

Detectives are appealing for two people, who witnessed a car being driven the wrong way along a road in the centre of Stone to get in touch.

Just before 6pm on Tuesday 19 August, the driver of a blue Volkswagen Golf failed to stop for officers on Redhill Road in the town.

It was then driven the wrong way along High Street.

A man has been charged in connection with the incident.

Officers are keen to speak to two pedestrians in the area at the time and are urging them to come forward.
