Appeal after stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent

Police are appealing for information, after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.

At 3.30am today (Tuesday 30 June), officers were called to a report that a man had been stabbed outside a home on Malpas Walk in Goldenhill.

The victim had been approached by two men in the garden of a property.

West Midlands Ambulance service also attended the scene and took the victim to hospital.

He has since been discharged.

One of the suspects is described as being around 5ft 9in tall, aged in his 30s and wearing a t-shirt that was light blue at the top and shorts.

The second suspect is described as younger and wearing all black.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant CCTV, or dashcam footage.
