Families have paid tribute to two teenagers who died following a collision in Newport.
Ta-shay Canoville, 16, and 19-year-old Jaydon Bowyer have been described as 'deeply loved', following the crash on Aberthaw Road in Alway in the early hours of Thursday 7 May.
Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Two people charged with murder are due in court in June.
Ta-Shay's family described him as "beloved" and someone "whose life touched so many hearts in ways words can never express."
They added, “there are no words for the pain of losing him, and there will always be a space in our hearts that can never be filled. But alongside the sorrow is immense gratitude — gratitude for the privilege of being part of his life and for every memory we shared.
“To know him was to love him. The outpouring of love shown by the whole community is testament to this, and as a family we are extremely thankful for all the love and sympathy shown to us, we request our privacy is respected at this sad time.
“We will carry him with us in the stories we tell, in the laughter we share, in the music we hear and in the quiet moments when we miss him most."
Jaydon's family remembered him as "a deeply loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend" and praised his charm and kindness.
“Jaydon was polite, respectful, and full of cheeky charm. Jaydon had a way of lighting up every room he walked into, with his handsome face and that unforgettable mischievous smile. He brought warmth, laughter, and energy wherever he went.
“He had his whole life ahead of him, with dreams and plans that meant so much — especially the ones we shared about building our own business together. Those dreams made the future feel exciting and losing him feels unimaginably unfair."
