Lancashire man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after girl, 12, 'kidnapped' in South Wales
The girl was reportedly abducted from the Treherbert area yesterday

A man from Lancashire has been arrested after a twelve-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped in the village of Treherbert in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
South Wales Police say that a 35-year-old is being questioned on suspicion of sexual assault and possession of a knife in a public place.
He remains in custody.
The force tell us the girl is now home safe and with her family.
Treherbert sits at the head of the Rhondda Fawr valley in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales, and has a relatively small population.
