Police investigations continue following shooting in Cardiff

Following a report of a shooting in Cardiff on Saturday, South Wales Police say they're enquiries are continuing.
South Wales Police was called at around 8pm on Saturday, June 7, after a report of a shooting incident in Pontprennau, Cardiff.
Officers then attended a house in Clos y Ffynnon where a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital.
The police have confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
Detective Superintendent Mark O’Shea, from South Wales Police, said
“We understand the concern this incident will cause, and I want to reassure the local community that teams of detectives and specialist staff are working at pace to piece together the events of Saturday evening.”
Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and the police have said there will be visible presence in the area while officers continue the investigation.
