A reward of up to £10,000 has been renewed by the charity Crimestoppers for information leading to the arrest of Mohammed Ali Ege, who is wanted in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Aamir Siddiqi in Cardiff.

While two men have been convicted for the crime and are serving life sentences, South Wales Police continue efforts to trace and arrest Ege.

Ege, now 46, fled to India before he could be arrested for Aamir’s murder.

In 2013, he was detained in India but managed to escape custody in 2017 while awaiting extradition.

His current location remains unknown.

If Ege is apprehended anywhere globally, South Wales Police will be informed straight away.

Ege is listed on the Crimestoppers 'Most Wanted' website where information regarding the cash reward can be found.

The public is urged to provide information that may lead to his arrest.

The charity emphasises the importance of sending tips to them directly, as only those submissions will be considered for the reward.

Information must be provided via the anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or their freephone number, 0800 555 111, to qualify.
