Police appeal for witnesses to road traffic collision in Newport
A 21-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital in a 'serious but stable condition'

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a road traffic collision in Newport on Friday (24 July 2026).
Officers were called at around 1.50pm to the bridge between Blaina Wharf and Spytty Road.
The collision involved a white Honda 300, a white Mercedes A160, and a grey Skoda Fabia.
Police say the rider of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man from Newport, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains receiving treatment in a serious but stable condition.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have seen the motorcycle travelling in the area.
