An unknown man is in hospital in a serious but stable condition after being found unresponsive on Swansea Bay.
Police have launched an appeal to trace family and friends after he collapsed yesterday morning (December 30th).
Officers have not been able to identify him by name, despite asking a number of local pubs which he visits.
He had no identification or mobile phone on him, but by using receipts found in his wallet, officers were able to locate CCTV pictures of him at The Worms Head Pub, Rhossili - whilst he's also known to frequent The Black Boy Pub in Killay in Swansea.
Staff at both premises told officers that they recognise him from the photo, but don’t know his name or his next of kin.
He was found unresponsive on Swansea Bay at around 10.30am, when it's believed he suffered a medical episode.
Officers add there are no suspicious circumstances.
