Man sentenced after cannabis factory discovered in Cardiff

A man from Caerau has been sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months, after a cannabis factory was discovered in Cardiff.

Officers attended a property in Bromley Drive on Sunday, 12th July after receiving information about illegal activity.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the cannabis needed to be destroyed and the property made safe due to potential fire risks posed by modified electrics and intense lighting.

Leroy Bratcher, 49, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and producing cannabis.

He has been sentenced for eight months, suspended for 18 months.
