Wales outside-half Gareth Anscombe has joined Scarlets ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The 42-times capped Anscombe – a Six Nations Grand Slam winner in 2019 – previously played for Cardiff and Ospreys and returns to Wales after spells in Japan, England and France.

“I still have a huge desire to compete and to contribute on the field and help the team win matches,” Anscombe, 35, told the official Scarlets website.

“I’m genuinely excited to be joining the Scarlets at what I believe is an exciting time for the club.”
