Major incident declared after huge fire at old Milford Haven oil refinery involving tank and gas cylinders
Fire crews rushed to the Impala Terminals site to tackle flames coming from a decommissioned oil tank and around sixty gas cylinders

A major incident was declared after a fire broke out at the old oil refinery near Milford Haven last night.
The fire was reported around 17:11 (6th July), with crews rushing to the scene from Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, and Pembroke Dock.
At the centre of the blaze was a decommissioned oil tank containing residual crude oil, alongside around 60 cylinders of propane and oxygen.
This combination resulted in a huge plume of black smoke that was visible from miles away, though, everyone was safely accounted for.
One person has minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
While the Welsh Ambulance Service attended, no one needed to go to hospital.
Pembrokeshire County Council joined the multi-agency effort, assisting with road closures around the site.
Roads in the area have now reopened.
We're told there is no wider risk to the public and further updates will follow as information is released from the fire service.
